A V S R Holdings Private Limited (AVSR) was founded by Dr. A.V.S. Raju in 2005. Under his leadership, the Company carried out the investment & financing activities. Since 2005 it has been in the business of investment & financing activities in the group companies & associates. AVSR is registered with the Reserve Bank of India as a Non-Deposit taking - Core Investment Company (CIC-ND) pursuant to the receipt of Certificate of Registration from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) dated April 30, 2015, under Section 45-IA of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934. The Company holding investments in its group companies and carries out only such activities as are permitted under the Directions issued by RBI for CICs, as amended from time to time.
